We are women who love
God, Nature and Gathering
Hannah Holden
Owner & IDea Person
Hannah’s first love is her smokin’ hot husband, followed by her 6 amazing children. She enjoys spending time with them driving all over town to all the things, lounging at home and especially in the outdoors. Most of her free time is spent working with the youth at her church, playing her flute & avoiding housework. Her favorite outdoor places are her family camp ground in Prescott, AZ and her extended families sheep ranch in Coalville, UT. She’s a slow hiker, but loves to kayak and sit by a campfire talking (or just staring into the flames) and sipping hot chocolate!
Bethany Garvey
Marketing Genius
Bethany is a creative person in everything she does, whether it’s raising her 3 boys, teaching truths close to her heart or in art and media, she brings an inspired perspective. Her eye for beauty, color and detail make her a great photographer and talented marketer. She is a Jesus lover and enjoys sharing that love with others, particularly teens. Her ability to connect with others and see their divine potential is a gift to all who know her. Some of her favorite adventures have been kayaking down the Grand Canyon with her family and exploring Hawaii with her high school sweet heart husband.
Kim Scriber
Business Aficionado
When Kim isn’t managing her 4 kids’ schedules, you are most likely to find her on the slopes in the winter or hiking in the summer, either way she’s on a mountain! As a mother that has homeschooled, advocated for her children and pursued a Masters Degree in the midst of all that, she knows the value of a good retreat. Her calm demeanor and dedication to her faith define what it looks like to be a woman of integrity and devotion. Kim is a world traveler and she loves the architecture and beauty of Europe and trying all the food- especially the chocolate.
How it all Began
I fell in love with the outdoors and spending time with friends learning about God as a teenager at church camps. What I didn’t know, was how much I still needed those experiences as a young mother. In 2014, out of the blue, my college roommate contacted myself and our other roommates and proposed we all get together for a roomies retreat. I came home a new woman! I was excited to see my children, implement things I learned from my roommates, and re-dedicated to better gospel study. 10 years later, we still cherish our yearly retreat. Though the company and conversation are the best part, we always manage to find ourselves in the mountains, exploring red rocks, on a lake or at the beach. After years of seeing the benefits of these retreats, I started to wonder how I could bring that experience to more women. Women who would never do it for themselves. Women who need it most, but don’t have the support or resources to do so. Women who would love to go on a retreat, but because military life is so unpredictable, can’t plan ahead to make it happen. Finally, with the help of amazing women and a husband that encourages me to follow my dreams, Mountainside Gatherings was born. Welcome to our Mountainside, we can’t wait to Gather with you!
